Following confirmation of industrial action affecting passenger security screening for all airlines at Munich International Airport, Etihad Airways flight EY005 from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Munich (MUC) on 10 March 2023 is still planned to operate as scheduled.
However, in order to avoid significant disruption for transiting passengers, guests travelling to onward destinations beyond Munich will be rerouted via alternative ports from Abu Dhabi. Impacted guests will be informed of these changes directly.
Guests on the outbound flight EY006 from Munich (MUC) to Abu Dhabi (AUH) on the 10 March 2023 may also experience delays clearing passengers security screening at MUC

Coincidentally, Etihad is undergoing a planned systems change to its Passenger Service System and online check-in for guests travelling from global airports will be temporarily unavailable from 2 March until 12 March. During this period, check-in at airports will be open from four hours before flight departure times. Flights will operate as usual, and Etihad teams are ready to help minimise any disruptions that may occur over the next few days. This system change does not affect airline safety in any way.
