Things to know before you go

Umm Al Emarat Park was once Mushrif Park

The park was previously known as Mushrif Central Park, before being renamed in 2016 after it was renovated as Umm Al Emarat Park. This is why some people in the city may refer to it as a different name if you are looking for directions.

It can also sometimes be called the People’s Park too, as it was built as a hub for the community to help them enjoy and benefit from the beauty of open spaces. While visiting, you’ll notice many locals enjoying the park alongside tourists. It’s one of the most popular open spaces in the city.
