Arriving in Bali (Denpasar)

Book your flights to Denpasar with Etihad Airways and experience the diverse, exotic and rich cultural life of the Bali Island in Indonesia.

Plan Your Denpasar Holiday

Travel to Denpasar and step into this spectacular world of emerald green sea sides and fabled volcanic locations. If you’re into fashion, get a shirt tailored to perfection in an instant, with your choice of a traditional batik hand-woven fabric at many of the centres around the city. Stroll down the Sanur beach which has many cafés serving both traditional Balinese and international cuisine. Head 45 minutes north of Denpasar to the picturesque Ubud to spend some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

It is better to book your tickets to Denpasar prior to the peak tourist season of summers or fall. Temperatures are constant throughout the year but rains peak during December, which incidentally is the time of the famous Denpasar Festival. Winters are pleasantly warm with occasional rain. Cheap hotels in Denpasar are available during the humid rainy season, but exploring the scenic outdoors can be difficult in this period. Major Airports in Chicago

Chicago is primarily served by two major airports: O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Midway International Airport (MDW). Of the two, O’Hare is by far the more active, but despite heavy passenger traffic, O’Hare International Airport has been repeatedly voted the ‘Best Airport in North America’ by both Business Traveller and Global Traveller Magazines. It has four terminals and offers all the facilities you would expect.

Airport Transportation in Chicago

O’Hare International Airport is situated only 40 km from downtown Chicago, but the volume of traffic can lengthen the journey. Taking the train to O’Hare International Airport is not only the cheapest option, but also the fastest, with the journey taking around 45 minutes. A taxi to O’Hare International Airport can take as long as 90 minutes. Taking a shuttle or bus to O’Hare International Airport is cheaper but takes about as long as a taxi due to the same traffic problems.
