Travel to Lisbon is an opportunity to see renaissance history walks side by side with a handsome modern city. As you walk through the beautiful old parts of town with their cobblestone streets that serpentine through the narrow alleyways, you are transported back to a simpler time. Once you have found yourself to be lost in the past, around the next corner lies the modern day shimmering beauty of Parque Das Nações. This park was built for the European Expo in 1998 and is a visually stunning area. Be sure to visit its world class aquarium as well.

The summer months are the peak tourist season and Lisbon can get fairly crowded at this time. Be sure to buy your tickets to Lisbon as early as possible if you’re planning on visiting between March and October.
