Plan Your Berlin Holiday

Berlin is most noted for its infamous wall which was almost entirely torn down in the early 1990’s. Berlin has realized that the wall has become a symbol of perseverance and hope and has begun to restore pieces of it to remind and educate travellers of the city’s fabled past. Berlin’s achievements since becoming one city have been quite remarkable and the traveller here is the benefactor of those achievements. The museums, architecture and cultural venues make Berlin a must see location.

Every year in May the city hosts an excellent and well attended cultural festival called the Karnaval de Kulturen where the sights, sounds and tastes of Berlin are all prominently on display. Book your ticket to Berlin early if you plan to attend. Peak season in general for tourism is during the summer so if you are looking for cheap hotels in Berlin try autumn instead. The weather is nice and the crowds smaller. Flight deals to Berlin are available through Etihad Airways’ Deals section online.
