Dubai Expo 2020 location

Expo 2020 will take place in the Dubai South district, just a 45-minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport and Yas Island.

Taxis are really easy to find in Abu Dhabi and can usually be arranged with your hotel. When you return from Dubai, the simplest way to book a taxi is to download the Careem or Uber app.

If you’re driving, parking is free and open from 8.30am to 1.30am Saturday to Wednesday, and 8.30am to 2.30am Thursday and Friday. A free shuttle service will be in operation between all public car parks.

Terms and conditions

A complimentary Season Pass Finale ticket to Expo 2020 is available to all eligible Etihad Airways guests who purchase an Etihad Airways flight ticket to Abu Dhabi between 1 October 2021 and 31 March 2022.

Available on eligible itineraries as per the following terms and conditions:
- Etihad Airways flight tickets purchased via etihad.com, Etihad Holidays, Etihad Retail, Contact Centres, Etihad Guest or via a travel agency.
- Ticket which is fully paid and holds a confirmed “HK” status.
- Final destination is Abu Dhabi or may also include a connecting flight into Abu Dhabi with a transit of 24 hours or more (as per scheduled arrival and departure times on ticket).
- Ticket number starting with “607” in any ticket fare level.
The following tickets are not eligible:
- Cancelled Etihad Airways tickets.
- Amended Etihad Airways tickets with journey dates not between 1 October 2021 and 31 March 2022.
- Other codeshare and interline flight tickets.
Cancellations, changes and re-issuances
- If your original Etihad flight ticket has had a date changed, you may use the same Expo 2020 Season Pass Finale ticket for the new dates without the need to re-issue a new pass. This is strictly subject to new travel dates being between 1 October 2021 and 31 March 2022 only.
- The Expo 2020 Season Pass Finale ticket does not have a monetary value and cannot be exchanged, refunded or transferred for cash value.
- The Expo 2020 Season Pass Finale ticket cannot be transferred, resold or exchanged with/to any other guest or individual, and is valid only for guests mentioned on the original flight booking. Should tickets be re-distributed in violation of these rules, Etihad will have the right to cancel the Expo 2020 Season Pass Finale ticket.
- We may revoke or cancel this offer without notice in the event that your Etihad flight booking is cancelled or refunded.
- We may revoke or cancel this offer at any time, and you will be notified at time of cancellation.
- If you lose your Expo 2020 Season Pass Finale ticket, you can enter your booking reference again and the Expo 2020 Season Pass Finale ticket will be re‑sent to you at the email address you provided at time of issuance.
Other important terms and conditions:
- Only one complimentary Expo 2020 Season Pass Finale ticket per guest in each booking confirmation will be provided on all eligible itineraries.
- We may amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time without advance notice. Any amended or modified terms will become effective once posted on our website and will apply to this offer and your use of your Expo 2020 Season Pass Finale ticket.
- Issuances of Group tickets will be completed offline. To issue your complimentary Expo 2020 Season Pass Finale ticket, please send an email to MICEConnect@etihad.ae with your confirmed group booking details, and a member of our team will revert back in 72 hours.
- In no event will we be liable to you in any form for any loss or damage that you may sustain, whether direct or indirect in nature, arising out of your use of your Expo 2020 Season Pass Finale ticket, or from availing this offer.
- This offer will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws as applied in Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applicable. You agree to grant jurisdiction over yourself to the Abu Dhabi Courts and designate it as the exclusive forum for resolution of all disputes arising under this offer.
- Other conditions to redeem directly with Expo 2020 and use/access/admission rules of Expo2 020 apply henceforth on these tickets.
