Validate your travel documents and arrive at the airport with confidence knowing that you’ve met all essential COVID-19 requirements long before your flight. When you’ve been Verified to Fly, you can fast track straight to our Verified to Fly desks at the airport for a quicker and simpler check-in.
You must submit your documents no later than three hours before your flight.
Verified to Fly is available from seven days before your flight. You’ll be able to upload your documents as soon as you’ve received a negative COVID-19 PCR test result, until three hours before your flight.
As long as your COVID-19 documents are in order, you’ll be Verified to Fly, subject to presenting a valid passport and visa at the airport.
If you have not been Verified to Fly in time for your flight, please make your way to the airport as usual. Our team will be happy to review your documents at check-in.

You can check your Verified to Fly status at any time at Manage my booking. If your flight is delayed or cancelled, or there is a last-minute change in requirements, your Verified to Fly status may change.
Travel regulations
Please check the travel regulations carefully before you fly to understand the visa, entry, testing and quarantine requirements for your destination – you may be denied boarding at the airport otherwise, even if you’ve been Verified to Fly.
You can check the COVID-19 requirements for your destination by entering your flight details at etihad.com/manage. There’s no need to upload your passport or visa, as these will be checked when you arrive at the airport.
Remember, it’s your responsibility to make sure that you meet all visa and entry requirements for your destination – you may be denied boarding at the airport otherwise, even if you’ve been Verified to Fly

The quickest and simplest way to check your Verified to Fly status is to visit Manage my booking. We’ll also send you an email as soon you’ve been Verified to Fly.
If your flight is delayed or cancelled, or there is a last-minute change in requirements, your Verified to Fly status may change, and you may be required to resubmit your documents.
If your status shows as “Not Verified”, we may not have checked your documents yet, or something you submitted may not have been approved.
Please make your way to the airport and make sure you have the required documents with you.
Our check-in agents will review your documents and you will be cleared to fly subject to your documents, passport and visa being valid.
No. As part of our Verified to Fly service, we will check your COVID-19 travel documents, and your passport and visa will be checked at the airport. You must make sure that you meet all visa and entry requirements for your destination, as you may be denied boarding at the airport otherwise. No, Verified to Fly is a complimentary service.
It’s not mandatory to use our Verified to Fly service, though it is highly recommended to help make checking in at the airport quicker and smoother. It also means that you have one less thing to think about before you fly, making preparing for your trip simple.
If your flight has been delayed or cancelled, you may be required to resubmit your documents in order to be Verified to Fly for your new flight.

Yes. You can provide a copy of your COVID-19 PCR test results from the AL HOSN app by downloading a pdf copy of your PCR test certificate. To do this click on the ‘share’ icon in the top right of your test results screen and select ‘TEST RESULT’. You can then upload this to Manage my booking.
Yes. You can share a screenshot of your ‘OK to fly’ status as proof of your PCR test result.
