You can enter Abu Dhabi if you are a UAE national or resident, or if you are eligible for a visa on arrival. All other visa services are currently suspended.
When you arrive in Abu Dhabi, you must follow the quarantine guidelines in place and self-isolate for 14 days. If you are travelling to another emirate including Dubai, you will simply need to follow the quarantine rules of that emirate. You will only be permitted to travel to another emirate by Etihad Chauffeur, Etihad Express Coach or Airport Taxi.
If for any reason you are unable to travel this way, you will be required to follow standard Abu Dhabi quarantine guidelines.
UAE residents and nationals in Phase III of the vaccine trials or taking part in the National Vaccination Programme are exempt from quarantine on arrival to Abu Dhabi. Read more.

COVID-19 PCR testing is included when you fly with Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi between 1 October and 31 March 2021. Excludes flights to China.
Simply book your flight and visit any Life Dx authorized sample collection facility in the UAE before you fly. If you’re travelling in Business or First, you can arrange your PCR test to be collected directly from your home.
The process is simple
If you are flying to China, you will be required to arrange a COVID-19 PCR test at an approved SEHA clinic. This is not included in your ticket due to the specialist testing required.
