Welcome to a lighter way to travel. Fly for less in Economy with our hand baggage only fares – the best value way to travel if you don’t need to take checked baggage on your trip. Available when you book an Economy Deal fare between Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt.
Your cabin bag can weigh up to 7kg. You can also bring one personal item on board with you, such as a handbag or laptop bag. Your personal item must fit under the seat in front of you and weigh up to 5kg. If your cabin baggage exceeds our maximum weight or dimension limits, you will be asked to check your bags in. Excess baggage charges will apply.

Our hand baggage only fare is available for travel between Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, China and Japan. The fare applies to point-to-point travel and is not available if you are connecting through Abu Dhabi to other worldwide destinations.
Yes. If your baggage exceeds our maximum weight or dimension limits, you will be charged an excess baggage fee. You can carry a cabin bag, weighing up to 7kg, as well as a personal item weighing up to 5kg.
You can still purchase excess baggage, even if you’ve booked a hand baggage only fare. Book online before you fly to save up to 20%, or add extra baggage starting from USD 40 at the airport.
