Buy extra baggage
You can now book your extra baggage in advance online before your flight and enjoy a 30% discount.
Choose your seat
We’re sorry, you can’t choose your seat at this time. A seat will be automatically selected for you. You can choose your seat for travel from 13 March.
Online check-in is now available.
Check your destination’s travel requirements for any COVID-19 related documents you may need.
Stay up to date on your flight by tracking its status.
Your original booking is still the same. Your flight confirmation will show a new booking reference due to our systems switch. You can use it to check in, manage your booking and for other services as usual.
If you're eligible for a refund, you can place a request via Manage my booking or through our contact centre.
You will not be able to reserve a seat if you're travelling between 9 and 12 March.
You'll be able to reserve a seat online from 9 March only if you're travelling on or after 13 March.
All chauffeur services are available once again.
If you have an existing chauffeur booking, it is still confirmed and valid.
You can also book a chauffeur up to 12 hours before your departure time.
If you have an existing coach booking, it is still confirmed and valid.
You can book our coach service up to 24 hours before your departure time as normal.
Our new mobile app will be available from 13 March, so please make sure to update or install our latest version on Apple or Android to enjoy the new personalised features and more.
You won't be able to access your Travel Bank account while we switch our systems.
From 11 March 2023, your Travel Bank account will change into an Etihad Credit account; a new platform that lets our guests add, store and spend Etihad vouchers, track the balance and view transaction history.
You don’t need to do anything; we’ll simply share your log in details with you when your new Etihad Credit account has been set up.
If you have any credit expiring between 14 February and 11 March, it will be automatically extended for two months.
Yes, you can now bid for an upgrade online or request an upgrade at the airport. You'll be able to use your miles for an upgrade from 13 March.
We're sorry, but we're not accepting home check-in bookings at this time. Please check in at the airport at least four hours before your flight.
You can still enjoy access to any of our lounges, whether in Abu Dhabi or around the world if you're eligible to as a Gold or Platinum member, or if you’re flying in Business or First on an Etihad-operated flight.
It won’t be possible to request access as a walk-in guest or enjoy extras, such as our cigar service, between 8 and 13 March.
Yes, you can buy travel insurance at the same time while purchasing your ticket on our website.
We understand that it's important for you to travel with your pet. We’re sorry, we aren't able to accept new bookings at this time while we switch our systems.
You will be able to bring your cat or dog on board if you are travelling from 14 March onwards. Please make sure to submit the booking form through our website at least seven days before departure.
You'll be able to redeem your miles or buy extras from 10 March.
Yes, you'll earn Etihad Guest Miles as usual. There may be a delay in crediting them to your account as we switch our systems, please bear with us during this time.
Yes, you can claim your missing miles by contacting your frequent flyer programme.
You can put a request after 10 March to retro-add your Etihad Guest number and claim any missing miles once you've completed your flight.
Yes, you'll still be able to enjoy all of your tier's benefits during our systems switch. Simply present your digital membership card in your Etihad Guest app at any airport. Don't have the app? Download it now from the Apple iStore or Google Play.
If you have an Etihad Guest Emirates NBD or FAB redemption voucher, an ADIB or SBI companion voucher, we're sorry but you won't be able to redeem it at this time. A new voucher code will be sent to you in due course.
Yes, you will still receive your rebate if you travel on 8 or 9 March. There may be some delay in having the amount re-credited to your account. Please bear with us as we switch our systems.
If you're eligible for a refund or would like to exchange your ticket, you can place a request via Manage my booking or through our contact centre.
You can book a GuestSeat or OpenSeat online using your miles for yourself from 10 March. If you'd like to book a GuestSeat or OpenSeat for a companion, you can do so through our contact centre from 10 March. Online bookings for companions will be available in due course.
Please make sure that the spelling of your name in your Etihad Guest profile matches your flight booking, so that you'll be able to enjoy your benefits at the airport.
